My Refugee Life
This article is written by Bharati Kshetri a Grade III girl from Refugee Camp in Nepal in year 1995.
I am a small Bhutanese girl of nine years old. I left my country with my father and mother along with two little sisters in the year 1992. In my country, many policeman and armies came in our village and drove out all the villagers like cows and goats. When we reached Nepal we are given a small plot of land to build a hut. We are also given plastic and bamboo for roofing and walls, pots to cook,Plates to eat, wear cloths, plastic buckets, blankets, rice, Dal, oil, sugar, salt, medicine and school for study.
I am feeling different from the life of my home in my country. I always remember the good days and sweet things that i had at Geylegphug. When i get up early in the morning i always see the same food cooked by mother.I like to eat fruit and curd, butter and meat but without money we cannot get anything.I go to school always and spend my days with my friends and i listen to the teaching of my kind teachers. In the evening i come to my hut and again find the same type of food in the pots.
In my refugee life i like only my school, but i don't like all other things and i pray to god to make me return soon to my country Bhutan.

The Savage Love
The Candle burns on the table,
While the winds outside threatens,
To blow it off forever.
I lie on my rugged bamboo bed tatters,
And dreamed of savage love,
I never had a life.
No warmth in Mummy's womb,
No love in daddy's arms,
No soul to seek refuse,
From the fearsome cold night.
I shiver huddling under dirty blankets.
No memories knock at,
But only the dream of savage love,
Of a love beyond the planetary routes,
An unknown bliss towards eternity,
As I wait in the darkness of thoughts.

Mother's Love
What is Mother's love
I cannot define
I cannot measure.
But i feel the warmth
And treat it like a treasure
It is warmer than the summer
And sweeter then the sugar.
If we measure with the ruler
It has no two end Points
If we put in a container
There is no such container
Which is big and strong enough.
And which does not allow it to flow
It flows in winter and summer
It flows in spring and Autumn
It flows further than a river
And it flows forever and ever.

A Life to Walk Alone at Night
I Like to walk alone at night,
When everything is calm and quiet.
Not a Chirping of the bird is heard,
Nor the barking of a dog.
All by myself with stars and
Moonlight in the peaceful night.
When the cool wind blows on my face,
my brain becomes fresh
And thinking about the future,
As deep as the ocean depth.
Where to step and where to stand!
Question that question me always.
It is very nice to walk
In a bright moon lit night,
Which brings the brightest hours,
And happiest thought fills my heart.
And it is sad to depart,
From the bright moonlight.
As well as from the peaceful night,
When everything is calm and quiet.

Determination
Determination is a very great quality in a person. To succeed in whatever task we take up we must have determination. This means we must make our mind to achieve our aim no matter how many difficulties we may have to face.
"I came, I saw, I conquered", these were the famous words of Julius Caesar. They clearly show us what a determined person Julius Caesar was. It was only because of his strong determination that he won battle after battle finally became emperor of Rome.
The marvels of electricity, telegraphy, the airplane, rockets and space ships were created by men who had determined to succeed and over come all the difficulties in their path.
Nothing is impossible. Napoleon said, "The word impossible is in the dictionary of fools." we have to make up our mind to do a thing and we will surely achieve what we are striving for. If a person is determined to succeed from the very beginning, nothing and no one can stop him. Determination is a persons key to success.
Determination should not be confused with stubbornness. It is not good to be stubborn. A stubborn person is one who has fixed, rigid ideas and who does not listen to reason. Stubborn people do not think of other people's point of view and insist on doing whatever they want even though they know that they are in the wrong. A determined person, on the other hand, is one who decides to follow a certain path he knows to be right. He makes up his mind to achieve his aim in spite of all difficulties.

Life
I visualize "LIFE IS NOT A BED OF ROSES".May be I do not preserver in overcoming one difficulty at a time, So I fail or instead of striking to one aim in life before rectifying I discourage on small obstacle by changing the aim and create havoc in the mind which cannot be overcome by my empty and dull brain.
May be it is my lack of perseverance, not lack of ability, all these causes of most of the sad failures that stain my life history.
Even a small stream carve out, so deep and wide George by constantly flowing but for me virtues in my life are no better than fairy gold which glitters in my pocket and become worthless stones when I try to utilize in my real life. So I visualize my life "Life is not a bed of roses" instead "Life is a tale told by an idiot, full of fairies signifying nothing".

Why Be Honest?
With the rapid spread of education and the growing consciousness of women's right and their capacity to look after there own welfare, we are all sanguine that the true cooperative spirit well grown among the people and inspire our social and economic institution to our greater benefit.
The butterflies flies over the flower beds gathering nothing, the spider collects poison from the flowers but the bees finds and stores up honey. So the object for which you go to the school will determine the kind of fruit it will give to you.
The habit to overrate affable teachers because of mediocre look and to undermine his artistic re - capitulation should be thoroughly dropped. One should have implicit faith to the target he is directing us. Every conscious elder wants his kith and kin to be doing something blossoming for the welfare of the society.
one must be optimistic to cultivate the character and correct own slightest possible mistakes. Character which is the greatest power that shapes the life of a man can be stitched in a temple of learning, where your flames of p[progress will be more brightened. It is not possible of all person to become great but everyone can be Fidel, true, honest and faithful in life, and do his concerned duty in his own particular field a midst the dark cloud of catastrophe the shadows us.
